Healing

We are living in a time of great, positive change, but one of great desperation as well. For many of us, this translates to an earnest quest for wisdom and healing that becomes a personal imperative. We are sick of being sick, eating sick food, and taking sick medicine. My aim is to help people to accomplish true, deep healing. I respect the uniqueness of each person’s journey and am here to assist in raising that journey to a place of ease and health.

My training consists of many years apprenticing with shamans and curanderos from Mexico and Peru, where I learned how to mediate between this world and the unseen world. A shaman works with spirit helpers, herbs and other natural remedies, and hands-on energy work. We also facilitate ceremonies for special events, special challenges, full and new moons (fires at my house when seasonable), and rites of passage. These rituals help the client to learn about themselves at a deeper level and heal.

I also studied at Hanna Kroeger’s school for natural healing in Boulder, CO, while I was pursuing my Master’s in Buddhist Studies at Naropa University, the first Buddhist university in the West. At Hanna’s, I learned about herbs and natural remedies. I learned how to use the pendulum to read people’s vibrational fields, and to do more hands-on energy healing.

In addition, I have training in craniosacral therapy, which is a powerful modality that works with the fascia system of the body, and shiatsu, which works with the energy meridians.

How do I know what to work on? Through deep listening and use of my pendulum, I learn what is ready for healing. If you don’t mention something in our conversation, it’s not presenting for healing yet. I work on issues as they present.

Fee Schedule:

1 hour private healing session: $120

30 minute tune-up: $60

Ceremonies: $75 per hour

I work on a sliding scale basis. My fees are suggested, but I encourage you to contact me if you need to work something out. In addition, I offer a six session discount of 20%.
